[coldsync-hackers] New snapshot: 2.3.0

	I've uploaded a new snapshot,
http://www.ooblick.com/software/coldsync/coldsync-2.3.0-20011210.tar.gz
Note that this is on the 2.3.x development branch. Note also that x =
0, which according to ancient tradition is when bugs get added.

Anyway, the two new changes are:
	- The options{} block now takes "hostid: 12345;", for those
people who don't want to use their IPv4 address as the host
ID. This is even documented. Whoo-hoo!
	- Syncing over USB under Linux ought to be more reliable now.

The second feature is really a workaround. The problem is that
IME Linux tends to drop USB data. What happens then is that ColdSync
gets a packet that claims to be, say 1024 bytes long. If one byte gets
dropped, ColdSync reads 1023 bytes, then hangs waiting for the last
byte. The Palm doesn't expect an acknowledgement from the desktop, so
it just sits there.
I've added a wrapper around DLP requests, so that in the above
situation, ColdSync will resend the request, up to 5 times. As you can
see, this doesn't help performance or throughput.
