	I definitely recommend ColdSync 2.1 over any of the earlier
versions if you're running Linux.
	Aside from that, though, I haven't seen this error message
before. You're having problems writing to the device, but presumably
if it got to the point where it was trying to write, it has already
successfully read something from the Palm. So I would guess that the
problem is either in the driver or in your setup. I'm not sure where
to look, though.
