Do you have debugging turned on for the USB serial drivers?  That's
probably what this info is.

If so, are there any error messages in the kernel log when coldsync
reports problems?

Also, could you try the latest patch that I sent to the linux-usb-devel
list for the visor driver:

It fixes an old bug in the driver and seems to have improved by
transfers a bunch (if nothing else, they are a bit more elegant to watch
:)
